This is a last min. thought I had.

Aw man. This idea is really great... the ending is so bittersweet, and when the Trick-or-Treaters start to show up you just know that the poor old guy is finally on his way to being a real skeleton, like you said. I really enjoyed reading this - will you be writing us some more short stories soon? c:
